HOW TO USE RESIN NOVA ?

Measure the Resin and Hardener

  1. Measuring Resin: Place a clean measuring cup on the scale and tare (zero) it. Carefully pour the resin into the cup until you reach 100 grams.
  2. Measuring Hardener: Repeat the process with a second clean cup for the hardener, aiming for 50 grams to maintain the 2:1 ratio.

Mix Resin and Hardener

  1. Combine the Two: Pour the measured hardener into the cup containing the resin.
  2. Mixing: Using a wooden stir stick, mix the contents slowly and thoroughly for at least 3-5 minutes. Scrape the sides and bottom of the cup as you mix to ensure everything is blended.

Color Mixing

  1. Prepare Small Batches: Pour small amounts of the mixed resin into several cups.
  2. Adding Pigments: Add a different pigment to each cup according to your color scheme. Use powders, liquid dyes, or pastes designed for resin.
  3. Mix Colors: Stir each color thoroughly to ensure the pigment is evenly distributed throughout the resin.

Pouring the Resin

  1. Prepare the Canvas: Ensure the canvas is level and stable. You can use a raised platform to catch drips if necessary.
  2. Pouring Technique: Carefully pour the colored resin onto the canvas, using your design plan as a guide. Pour from close to the surface to reduce air bubbles.
  3. Creating Patterns: Use tools like sticks, brushes, or even a blowtorch to manipulate the resin into patterns. Techniques like tilting the canvas can
